**Learning @ Logic** Part 2 of missing teeth
13/11/2017
Fixed bridges
Involves filling the space of the missing tooth by bonding a crown to the natural teeth on either side of the space, joined to a “pontic” that sits in the position of the missing tooth. This treatment requires several dental visits to prepare the natural teeth, impression, temporary bridge while a permanent is being fabricated at a lab, and fitting of the permanent bridge. Less costly than implants and look, feel and function like natural teeth; unfortunately the trimming of healthy natural teeth is required for treatment.
